There are two therapy groups.
Both are open to men and women.
There is one group facilitator and their role is not to advise or tell
members what to do, but rather to enable each member to get the
most from the group experience.
Group members are helped to identify patterns in the way that they relate to others in the group and to discover links with their relationships outside the group and their childhood experiences.
Members of the group choose to come for a variety of reasons.
There may be problems in relationships and the group gives members the opportunity to talk with others, who are not emotionally involved.
Sometimes it helps to hear the point of view of another member, who may have experienced a similar situation.
It can be helpful to listen to a member of the opposite sex, or of a different age group and to understand how they feel about certain issues.
At any time the group may include women and men, and older and younger members.
