Enfield Counselling Service (ECS) has been training counsellors
since 1978.
Our courses are accredited by the Westminster Pastoral
Foundation (WPF), a well known and reputable counselling and
psychotherapy training organisation.
One-day workshop, held several times a year
This one-day workshop provides a taster of the types of thinking and activity you might experience within a counselling course.
During the day you will be introduced to some of the basic listening and responding skills. You will also be encouraged to join in experiential exercises and group discussions about various aspects of the counselling process and techniques used in counselling skills courses.
You will not receive a specific recommendation to a particular training, but you will have an overview of the various schools of thought and practice in the counselling world.
