Signs and Symptoms on Child Abuse, Jan Christie

 

Biography: Jan Christie has worked for over 35 years within the care system mainly with young people and families.

 

She was the Principal Officer for Children and Young People in a London Borough for four years. She worked for many years with the London Boroughs Training Committee specialising in training on child abuse and she has a particular expertise in the field of caring for mothers and babies.

 

Her recent experience is in the assessment of the relationships between mothers and babies within a residential setting for the Beacon Lodge Charitable Trust.
